Lartington Hall wedding photography – Andrew & Elle

This was a wonderful Christmassy wedding right before New Year, set in crisp, bright countryside. I was there to spend the whole day and when I arrived at Elle’s parents home for the bridal preparations there was a full house, and a very relaxed atmosphere, which matched the style of the photographs Andrew and Elle wanted. They were married at their family church in Barnard Castle, which was decorated with the most enormous Christmas tree, in the company of all their family and friends. The day was fresh and sunny so we were able to make the most of candid photographs outside the church before setting off for a sumptuous, festive reception at Lartington Hall. Andrew and Elle wanted to spend as much time with their guests on the day as possible and so I was able to get creative and capture lots of relaxed and informal shots…many that they didn’t even know were being taken!
